Rotary Club of Hutt City was founded in September 1943 and was the first Rotary Club in the Hutt Valley area. Today there are 10 Rotary Clubs. August 2004 - Membership stands at 68.

Rotary Club of Hutt Valley hold meetings nearly every Wednesday at noon with a hot lunch and notices, guest speaker at 1.00 pm and close at 1.30 pm.
